Supercharged Hot Chocolate

Serves 1

A decadent, nourishing drink to support hormones, skin health, and immune resilience.

Ingredients

  • 1½ cups milk of choice (raw dairy, almond, oat, or coconut)

  • 1 tbsp raw cacao powder or good-quality cocoa powder (or carob for caffeine-free)

  • 1 scoop (approx. 1 tbsp) collagen powder

  • 1 tsp raw honey, to taste (or maple syrup)

Optional Boosts

  • ½ tsp ground turmeric (anti-inflammatory support)

  • A pinch of black pepper (to activate turmeric)

  • A pinch of sea salt (to enhance flavour)

  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon or chilli (for warmth and blood sugar support)

  • ½ tsp mushroom powder (such as reishi, chaga, or a blend)

  • 1 tsp ghee or coconut oil (for satiety and nourishing fats)

Method

  1. Add the cacao and collagen to your favourite mug.

  2. Pour in a small amount of boiling water—just enough to cover—and stir well to dissolve the powders into a smooth paste.

  3. Add honey and stir again to combine.

  4. Top up with warm or cold milk (depending on preference), stir well, and enjoy.

  5. Alternatively, combine all ingredients in a jug or frother and blend until smooth and creamy.
