Supercharged Hot Chocolate
Serves 1
A decadent, nourishing drink to support hormones, skin health, and immune resilience.
Ingredients
1½ cups milk of choice (raw dairy, almond, oat, or coconut)
1 tbsp raw cacao powder or good-quality cocoa powder (or carob for caffeine-free)
1 scoop (approx. 1 tbsp) collagen powder
1 tsp raw honey, to taste (or maple syrup)
Optional Boosts
½ tsp ground turmeric (anti-inflammatory support)
A pinch of black pepper (to activate turmeric)
A pinch of sea salt (to enhance flavour)
¼ tsp ground cinnamon or chilli (for warmth and blood sugar support)
½ tsp mushroom powder (such as reishi, chaga, or a blend)
1 tsp ghee or coconut oil (for satiety and nourishing fats)
Method
Add the cacao and collagen to your favourite mug.
Pour in a small amount of boiling water—just enough to cover—and stir well to dissolve the powders into a smooth paste.
Add honey and stir again to combine.
Top up with warm or cold milk (depending on preference), stir well, and enjoy.
Alternatively, combine all ingredients in a jug or frother and blend until smooth and creamy.
